In November 2024, Chicago O’Hare International Airport opened its new $191M, six-story Terminal 5 parking garage, owned and operated by the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA). The facility provides approximately 1,700 covered spaces directly across from the terminal, with features such as a real-time parking guidance system, 48 electric vehicle charging stations, and an enclosed pedestrian bridge connecting travelers to Terminal 5. This marks the first dedicated garage for Terminal 5, significantly improving convenience and capacity for both domestic and international passengers.
