The Satellite Concourse 1 is a centerpiece of the O’Hare 21 Terminal Area Plan, a transformative expansion program at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Owned and managed by the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), the project broke ground in March 2023 and is scheduled to open in 2028.
This $1.3 billion investment will deliver a modern, sustainable, and passenger-focused facility that enhances O’Hare’s role as a global aviation hub.
