Northwestern University is undertaking a transformative redevelopment of Ryan Field, its historic football stadium originally built in 1926. Approved in 2023 and currently under construction, the project represents a once-in-a-century opportunity to reimagine the modern college football experience.
The new stadium, designed by HNTB with development led by Ryan Sports Development, is a privately funded $850M project scheduled for completion in August 2026.
