Since 2015, WD3 has grown from a steel distributor into a trusted supplier of structural materials and construction services for major infrastructure and commercial projects across the Midwest. Following the strategic acquisition of American Classic Rebar in 2019, the company expanded into in-house rebar fabrication and added concrete pumping services, allowing WD3 to provide more comprehensive support to its customers.
Today, WD3 supplies a wide range of materials including rebar, piling products, structural steel, caissons, noise wall posts, paving materials, ready-mix materials, and concrete pumping services. This expanded offering enables WD3 to support large-scale construction projects with both materials and specialized services.
Operating throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin, WD3 has contributed to major developments including the Terminal 5 Parking Garage at O’Hare International Airport, the Obama Presidential Center, and Bally’s Casino. The company works alongside leading contractors and public agencies including the Illinois Department of Transportation, Indiana DOT, Iowa DOT, Missouri DOT, Wisconsin DOT, the Illinois Tollway, and the Chicago Department of Aviation.
